Scientific Assistant - Bioanalytical Chemistry

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Assistant to support the development and conduct of bioanalytical assays across various therapeutic areas.

  • The successful candidate will contribute to a high-quality team complying with relevant standards, regulatory guidelines, and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure laboratory activities are conducted safely and efficiently
  • Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and build productive relationships with partners
  • Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025, OECD Principles of GLP, GCLP Principles, Quality Management System, and other requirements
  • Order and manage supplies for laboratory needs, forecast future requirements, and prepare goods for assay work
  • Support the performance of assays under supervision, maintain records (LIMS, database, and paper) to industry expectations
  • Attend meetings, participate in training activities, and seminars in the field of expertise

Requirements:

  • BSc in Chemistry or related discipline
  • Honours or Masters in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or equivalent experience
  • Experience in laboratory techniques
  • Excellent organisational and writing skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
