Locomotive Maintenance Technician

Our team is seeking a skilled Locomotive Maintenance Technician to join our ranks. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of complex locomotive engines.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair locomotives in accordance with industry standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Ensure all work meets the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Record all work, parts, and labor in our digital system.
  • Perform risk assessments before starting tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver efficient and timely outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably with locomotives.
  • Trade qualification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
  • Hands-on knowledge of locomotive engines, diagnostics, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
