We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team at 11 Recruitment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine construction project layouts.
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials to exact specifications.
  • Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes, according to construction plans.
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, molding, and cabinets.
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other construction workers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Requirements:
  • Relevant certificate
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and shape materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Salary and Benefits:

The role offers a salary of $70,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
