**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced National Transport Manager, Convenience to join our team based in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the National Convenience Operations and strategy for Lineage Australia, delivering business requirements in terms of product, delivery, and service while managing to commercial targets.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage National convenience transport operations, including fleet and equipment management.
  • Support Convenience transport supervisors and oversee QSR operations.
  • Responsibility for P&L of convenience and QSR businesses for transport.
  • Strategic planning and decision-making for convenience and QSR businesses.
  • Management and onboarding of new customers, including partnership and customer engagement.
  • Oversee route optimization and utilization of convenience fleet internal and external resources.
  • Subcontractor management and performance metrics associated with Convenience business.
  • Oversee and drive compliance and COR for convenience operations.

**Requirements**

  • Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in the industry.
  • Qualifications in Business or Logistics.
  • Experience leading a medium to large team.
  • Managing P&L with direct and contract drivers.
  • Strong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality, and legality issues.
  • The ability to provide training to subcontractors and drivers on Company processes and procedures.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and TMS.
