Transport Operations Manager

BevChain, a subsidiary of Linfox, is seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join their team in Laverton North VIC. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for managing transport operations and systems to enhance BevChain's reputation with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage transport operations and systems to optimize efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze transport key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise daily site operations, ensuring work allocation, driver schedules, and service metrics are met.
- Execute the Site Safety Plan and ensure staff training aligns with the site's Training Needs Analysis.
- Manage vehicle and equipment maintenance/service schedules.
- Participate in and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements.
- Maintain Health & Safety documentation per BevChain Safety Systems requirements.
Requirements:
- Prioritize and manage the daily workload in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities.
- Provide clear and concise communication in written reports.
- Work in a safe manner, in accordance with Training, Safe Work Procedures, and/or instructions.
- Have a proactive approach and positive attitude.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
