Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant or Supervisor to join our team, supporting client base growth through tax compliance and business advisory duties for diverse clients with SMSF experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Tax Returns for Individuals, Trusts, Companies, Partnerships & SMSFs.
  • Financial Statements, BAS/IAS/PAYG preparation.
  • Building relationships with clients.
  • Utilizing Xero & FYI.
  • Researching general taxation issues.
  • Varying business advisory projects under supervision.

The successful applicant will be a motivated self-starter who can work in a team environment and learn all aspects of our accountancy practice. They should be a confident and motivated Accountant willing to undertake tax compliance and business advisory duties for diverse clients with SMSF experience.

Requirements:
  • Accounting Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years' Australian Accounting Public Practice experience.
  • Completed or completing CA or CPA program.
  • Great numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Pro-active mentality and hard work.
  • XPM, Xero, MYOB, FYI Docs and BGL Simple Fund experience is advantageous.
