We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Valuation Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Corporate Finance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality valuations and providing expert advice to clients.

About the Role

This role involves performing complex valuations, including business valuations, equity valuations, purchase price allocations, derivatives, infrastructure valuations, and independent experts reports. You will also have opportunities to work on a broad range of corporate finance engagements, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raisings.

You will interact directly with senior management of our clients, collaborate with other staff across the firm, and deliver quality outcomes for our clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, advanced valuation and research skills, and experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex valuations, including business valuations, equity valuations, purchase price allocations, derivatives, infrastructure valuations, and independent experts reports.
  • Work closely with senior management of our clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other staff across the firm to achieve business objectives.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks, including business development and long-term client relationships.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years' experience in a valuation services role in an accounting and advisory firm.
  • Advanced valuation and research skills, demonstrated by having 4 years' experience in a dedicated valuations role.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • A degree from a leading Australian or overseas university or business school in a field such as accounting, management, commerce, business, or finance.
