Medical Centre Operations Manager

As a Medical Centre Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals and overseeing the day-to-day operational requirements of our medical centre. This is an exciting opportunity to bring structure, business improvements, and growth into our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reception team workflow, leading and supporting them in managing patient appointments, greeting clients, taking re-bookings, and payments.
- Appointment scheduling and management
- Billing procedures and debt collections
- Maintenance and security of facilities and equipment
- Privacy and quality controls of patient files and notes
- Engagement and management of third-party vendors
- Supporting management with reporting and ad-hoc tasks
- Creating and maintaining a harmonious, cheerful, and engaging practice environment
- Ensuring all staff, patients, and visitors adhere to Covid-19 health regulations
- Prior experience in medical practice management or similar industry
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Experience with recruitment, staff training, and development
- Thorough understanding of financial management, including Medicare rebates
- Proficiency in Practice Management Systems (advantageous)
- Experience in Clinical Governance and Accreditation
- Occupational health expertise
