Teaching Role

As a teaching professional, this role requires the delivery of high-quality education to students in a supportive and inclusive environment. Teachers should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing student learning programs, utilizing an integrated curriculum framework that caters to diverse student needs. They should be adept at managing classroom dynamics, employing evidence-based strategies to promote student engagement, motivation, and academic progress.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, education support teachers may also work collaboratively with other staff members to develop and implement individualized learning plans, participate in regular meetings with parents and guardians, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance their practice.

Requirements
  • Eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights
  • Ability to obtain a WA Working with Children Check and a current Screening Clearance Number
