Leadership Opportunity in Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as a Second-in-Charge. This role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of our early childhood service, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

About the Role:

This 2IC position is responsible for managing the daily activities of the Service in line with our vision and goals. You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure smooth operation and maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Service Manager in managing day-to-day operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Design and implement engaging learning programs
  • Collaborate with educators to provide high-quality care and education
  • Provide confident support and motivation to the team
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a current Second in Charge role
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Confidence when communicating with all levels of management
