About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Team Leader - Registered Nurse to join our team at International SOS.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that healthcare services are delivered to all individuals in accordance with medical standards and policies.
  • To manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the medical facility in consultation with the Health Services Manager and/or Area Medical Director.
  • To provide clinical reports as directed by the Health Services Manager and/or Area Medical Director to internal and external stakeholders.
  • To comply with privacy legislation and medical policies and procedures, including confidentiality agreements.
  • To demonstrate effective management of the nursing team through proactive and supportive engagement and execution of the Performance Management Process.
  • To manage the ordering and monitoring of stock within the medical facility.
  • To administer medications and immunizations as necessary.

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Full and valid working rights in Australia.
  • Significant health management experience gained from working in a large multi-faceted health business with broad clinical experience in primary health, mental health, emergency, and public health.
  • Previous nursing experience in a detention/correctional facility is highly desirable.
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in health administration, health management, or business is desirable.
  • Current First Aid or Basic Life Support certification (or willingness to obtain).
