This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely provisioning, deployment, recovery, and compliance of ICT hardware and peripheral equipment across multiple locations.
You will have a pivotal role in supporting our organisation's ICT Asset Management Policy and ensuring compliance with government asset tracking and reporting requirements.
Main Responsibilities Include:- Supervising and coordinating the work of imaging support officers to ensure smooth operations.
- Managing ICT equipment returns and urgent dispatch requests for remote and ministerial offices.
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishments in collaboration with the Hardware Asset Management team.
- Creating and managing ServiceNow transfer orders and dashboards for accurate asset tracking.
- Liaising with users to manage tasks, incidents, and resolution outcomes within ServiceNow.
- Coordinating urgent shipping requests and managing consignment tracking and reporting.
This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in managing ICT warehouse operations. Key qualifications include:
- Able to coordinate stock replenishments and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Proven experience managing ICT warehouse operations, including imaging, dispatch, and returns of hardware assets.
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow, including asset tracking workflows, transfer orders, and dashboard creation.
- Experience supervising technical support staff and coordinating logistics across multiple locations.
- Familiarity with shipping portals and consignment tracking.
- Effective liaison skills with internal stakeholders, including ICT Service Desk, Procurement, Projects, VIP teams, and Security.
