Geological Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Geological Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with experienced geotechnical engineers.

You will contribute to desk studies, planning, and delivering ground investigations, preparing factual and interpretive reporting. Your expertise will be applied in field reconnaissance and geological mapping to identify potential hazards such as landslides, subsidence, soil liquefaction, or unstable slopes.

Additionally, you will conduct geological and geotechnical site investigations, including soil and rock analysis. Your skills in developing geological models, cross-sections, and maps will support transportation design and construction.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated competency in a similar role within Ground Engineering
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and specialist Ground Engineering software
