Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job DescriptionThe Talent team plays a pivotal role in supporting Axiom's talent experience and driving the company's overall success.
As a critical member of our wider team, you will source, recruit, and guide legal talent throughout their Axiom experience.
You will strategically partner with internal stakeholders to ensure we are hiring the right talent population to meet client demand.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively source and recruit industry leading talent:
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through direct sourcing, market research, and relationship management;
- Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and evaluate attorney candidates in partnership with the team;
- Serve as the main point of contact for candidate correspondence;
- Evaluate client demand and manage our lawyer hiring strategy to ensure a consistent pipeline of candidates.
- Talent Management:
- Partner with a group of legal professionals to provide an exceptional Axiom client and legal talent experience;
- Accountable for managing all legal professionals from hire through retire, providing best-in-class service;
- Deliver against client requests for talent, identifying relevant candidates, liaising with the Sales team and Client to ensure match, and closing engagements successfully;
- Identify legal talent to fulfill client opportunities within defined practice areas, working directly with the Sales team and clients as appropriate.
- 4+ years full cycle recruiting experience within a recruiting agency or in-house for a company;
- Strong interviewing capabilities to assess candidate skills, ability, and suitability efficiently and quickly;
- Deep sense of urgency and drive to ensure matching of legal talent with client opportunities;
- Poise, confidence, and gravitas to interact with highly experienced legal professionals;
- Ability to work in a team environment, organize multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes, and creatively problem solve.
