Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and responsible caregiver to join our family in Sydney, Australia.

The ideal candidate will be engaging, fun to be around, but also nurturing, calm, and patient. A caregiver who can structure their day, be independent, design new routines, and provide fun, creative, and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the child's development.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years nanny or childcare experience, a current first aid certificate, and a current Working with Children's Check. They will also display strong communication skills and speak English fluently.

The caregiver will be responsible for caring for our little girl (3yrs old) from 6:00AM to 4:00PM each day, and also the youngest child (6 months old boy) for a few hours each morning until his nanny arrives at 8am. The caregiver will have 3 days per week with no childcare responsibilities between ~9AM to ~3PM when the eldest is at school.

  • PLAY AND ENGAGE WITH THE CHILDREN
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP AND DROP OFF FROM ELC (VIA TRAMS/PUBLIC TRANSPORT)
  • TAKE THE CHILD TO ACTIVITIES, I.E., PLAYGROUND, WALKS, AND TO THE PARK/PLAYGROUNDS AND OUT ON ADVENTURES (NON-SCHOOL DAYS)
  • HELP PREP/COOK MEALS AND SNACKS FOR THE 3-YEAR-OLD AND PREP AN EVENING FAMILY MEAL
  • HOMEROOM ASSISTANCE
  • LIGHT HOUSEWORK, LAUNDRY, TIDYING AS REQUIRED
  • RUN ERRANDS
  • GROCERY SHOP
