The role of a registered nurse is critical in delivering high-quality patient care in the emergency department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver best practice evidence-based nursing care to patients and families.
- Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse.
- Demonstrated competencies in emergency nursing, including triage and resuscitation.
- Effective clinical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for individualized care.
- Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate to deliver quality nursing care.
- Recent experience in emergency nursing with a commitment to professional development.
