Our client, a prominent and diverse financial services organization, is in search of an Internal Talent Acquisition Consultant to enhance their Melbourne team. This role is pivotal in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of qualified candidates for management, executive, and specialized roles.

This position is structured as an initial 9-month contract.

Role Overview:

The organization is looking for individuals to join their recruitment team. The ideal candidate will provide expert consulting services to hiring managers, offering strategic advice on recruitment methodologies and contributing to the performance management process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes for qualified candidates across various levels, including management and specialist roles.
  • Collaborate with management to identify specific job function needs and understand the requirements of different business sectors.
  • Advise management on best practices, policies, and procedures related to hiring.
  • Develop talent pipelines for challenging or high-volume positions.
  • Implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate with third-party recruitment agencies alongside Human Resources Managers and hiring teams.
  • Negotiate complex employment offers and provide guidance to hiring managers.
  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge through research and analysis.
  • Act as a subject matter expert within the team.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, strong consulting abilities, and a proven track record in client relationship management.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree from a college or university, along with relevant experience in human resources within the financial services sector.
  • 3-10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, specifically in the financial services domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment and sourcing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and sound judgment.
  • Proven consulting skills with experience in client servicing and relationship development.
  • Proficient in recruitment systems and tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compensation policies and practices.

Compensation: This role offers a competitive hourly rate based on prior experience. Successful candidates will be engaged as on-site contractors through Anton Murray Consulting.
