Job Title: Senior Program Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of capacity-building projects across various sectors, including Youth, Aging and Aged Care, Mental Health, and Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations. The successful candidate will manage staff and resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Manage a portfolio of capacity-building projects across multiple sectors.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget management, and quality standards are met.
  • Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure effective allocation of responsibilities, performance review, and development needs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for partnership aligned with strategic goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, or substantial extension through experience; or postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training, and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and a team of staff.
  • A detailed working knowledge of research related to LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing, and its implications for service delivery, policy, and interventions.
  • Management and leadership skills, with experience in managing and leading staff to promote a cohesive and effective team, and managing workflows.
  • Capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently, delivering outputs in a timely manner.
