About the Role
This varied role involves working across our inpatient rehabilitation unit, day programs, outpatient services, and in the community. The successful applicant will have a strong ability to manage a dynamic caseload while balancing administrative responsibilities.
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with patients, the multidisciplinary team, and consulting physicians.
- Support patient recovery through goal-oriented, occupation-focused interventions.
- Manage a dynamic caseload while balancing administrative responsibilities.
About You
You are a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a challenging and rewarding role. You have a strong background in occupational therapy and are committed to achieving the best outcomes for your patients.
Ideally, you have experience in inpatient, outpatient and community neurological rehabilitation.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in a hospital setting; neurological rehab experience highly regarded.
- Valid QLD Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel within a 1-hour radius of Cairns.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
