Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Water Engineer to join our team in NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering surface water engineering projects to a broad range of clients across multiple sectors.

The ideal candidate will have between 5-8+ years of industry experience, including experience within a consultancy, and possess:

  • Appropriate Engineering tertiary qualification and relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, particularly application of two-dimensional hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW).
  • Experience in hydrological modelling and assessments (DRAINS, RORB, WBNM and XP RAFTS) and understanding of Australian Rainfall and Runoff and relevant guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality surface water engineering projects on time and within set expectations.
  • Undertaking work that involves the application of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software.
  • Working closely with staff developing models and preparing quality reports for internal and external clients.
  • Developing and enhancing relationships between internal and external clients and SLR team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Appropriate Engineering tertiary qualification and relevant industry experience.
