Lead Software Engineer: Delivering High-Quality Web and API-Based Applications

This senior-level position involves spearheading the development of cutting-edge, robust web and API-based applications primarily utilizing Rust.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative libraries and contribute to greenfield projects.
  • Develop front-end applications in Rust, leveraging Leptos for WASM and Tailwind for CSS, emphasizing event-driven architectures and cloud-native technologies.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Technical expertise and a passion for effective communication.
  • Solid experience creating and maintaining web-based and API-based applications, preferably in Rust.
  • A portfolio showcasing non-trivial Rust projects, ideally web-related.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as collaboration experience with remote teams.
  • Strong documentation skills and a focus on untested code being broken code.
  • Autonomy, dependability, responsibility, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with AWS Serverless technologies (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB...).
  • Deep understanding of data structures and time complexity analysis of algorithms.
  • Experience building high-scale, concurrent systems and measuring performance.
