Senior Leadership and Management Position

Our organization is seeking a skilled Senior Supervisor to join our team in a leadership and management role. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage resource allocation for each project across our portfolio.
  • Consult with Project Managers on commercial and operational risks and opportunities for each project.
  • Work with Project Managers to assess daily progress against project schedules.
  • Undertake regular inspections of work quality to ensure compliance with engineering designs, contract specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with site Supervisors and Leading Hand personnel to deliver daily/weekly tasks.
  • Coordinate subcontractor or vendor service delivery onsite.
  • Attend project meetings and complete follow-up actions as required.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders in relation to any issues that may impact on project compliance, cost, or schedule.
  • Work with HESQ Manager to set site standards, processes, and procedures for each project as required by contractual and regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct risk assessments, near miss, and incident investigations as required and distribute learnings to teams in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate safety leadership behaviors onsite at all times.
  • Assist with processing additional cost variations in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years working as a Senior Supervisor or Superintendent in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in bulk earthworks.
  • Rio Tinto experience (desirable).
  • Australian working rights.
  • Current C class driver's license.
  • Senior First Aid certificate.
  • Relevant construction/civil engineering related qualifications.
