Job Opportunity for Freelance Developer

We are seeking a skilled freelancer to update our existing Django-based API for computer game data storage. The codebase is in good condition, but requires some standardization and improvements.


Responsibilities
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for reviewing the current code, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance the API's functionality.
  • Familiarity with Python, Django, Apache, and MySQL is essential for this role. Experience with version control systems like Git is also desirable.
  • The estimated time required for this project is around 20-40 hours, spread over a week or two. The candidate should be able to work independently and efficiently to deliver high-quality results within the given timeframe.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with Django framework.
  • Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL and web servers like Apache.
  • Basic knowledge of software development principles, including coding standards, testing, and debugging.
