At Omnicom Media Group Australia, we are seeking a skilled Credit Control Specialist to join our team in a full-time, permanent role.

Salary:

  • $80,000 - $110,000 per annum (based on experience)

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced credit control professional to work in a dynamic environment. As a Credit Control Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting all monies owed, managing aged debt, and ensuring timely payment from clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Collect all monies owed in alignment with assigned credit terms and manage all aged debt with clear invoice status updates
  2. Obtain debtor payment confirmations and update the cash forecast monthly
  3. Work closely with business directors of each agency and keep them updated with all account queries and non-payment of accounts
  4. Apply for debtor insurance as required and assist with the review of debtor insurance limits
  5. Monitor and manage invoice adjustments until unpaid invoices are cleared from the ledger and/or the issue is resolved
  6. Assist with banking and receipting as required
  7. Send debtor statements monthly
  8. Maintain the general credit control mailbox and ensure timely turnaround on queries and requests
  9. Assist the AR team with month-end close off, reporting as required, and/or ad-hoc duties
  10. Work longer hours where necessary to achieve department and individual deadlines

About You

We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented individual with a passion for credit control and a desire to grow in this area. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
