Theatre Technician Role
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Theatre Technician to join our team at Frankston Hospital. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide safe and appropriate patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Your role will involve working under the direct or indirect supervision of the Theatre Technician Manager, Nurse Manager and ANUM to ensure that all aspects of OH&S, Infection control principles are adhered to.
You will be responsible for maintaining equipment required for Surgery, preparing and maintaining the Operating room and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience as a Theatre Technician;
- A Certificate 4 Health Services Assistance (Theatre Technician) or equivalent qualification;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
