Theatre Leader Opportunity

Linacre Private Hospital is seeking a highly skilled theatre technician to lead our perioperative team in Melbourne.

About the Role

This key leadership position involves preparing the operating theatre environment for procedures, ensuring patient safety and dignity. As a leading figure in our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading theatre personnel in preparing the operating theatre environment for procedures
  • Ensuring patient safety and dignity in accordance with hospital policies and legislative regulations
  • Reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a theatre technician in an acute care setting
  • A relevant qualification such as Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership experience and proficiency in computer systems
