Key Leadership Role for Maintenance Team

This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a key leadership role within our maintenance team.

  • Lead the maintenance capability on site as a casual position with potential to become full-time for the right candidate.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A background in managing maintenance teams in food or FMCG, preferably with experience working with MEX Maintenance.
  • Advanced computer literacy with MS applications.
  • Excellent time management, motivation, communication, coaching, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Management of the maintenance team, including external contractors.
  • Directing team members and contractors engaged in machinery and building upgrades.
  • Inspection of site machinery/equipment for conformance with operational standards.
  • Developing methods and procedures to improve operation, minimize cost, and labor.
  • Conducting training for new staff and improving team performance.
  • Management and stakeholder reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Flexibility to manage issues outside normal hours.
  • A Forklift License (Perform High Risk Work License), Confine Space Entry Permit/ticket.
  • Familiarity with plant/equipment safety and GMP.
