Gemini Thomastown is a large, modern facility specialising in all types of vehicle repairs.

Our team has access to the latest equipment and works collaboratively to deliver excellent service.

The site features a large lunchroom, shower facilities, and off-street parking with easy access to public transport.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanic to join our team.

This is a permanent, full-time position where you will showcase your specialist technician skills by diagnosing faults and performing quality checks.

Experience and efficiency with modern scan tools and diagnostic computers are highly desired.

Work Monday to Friday, develop your skills, and be supported by a great team in a modern workshop.

Current experience as a qualified Mechanic is required.

Role Responsibilities
  • Diagnose damaged suspension parts and mechanical components
  • Dismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension parts
  • Conduct quality control and vehicle inspections
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standards
  • Perform wheel alignments
  • Update diagnostic and wheel alignment systems as needed
  • Label and store parts correctly
  • Verify parts are correct and undamaged
  • Perform necessary adaptations based on diagnoses
  • Maintain cleanliness of work bay and workshop areas
Requirements
  • Qualified Mechanic with relevant experience (essential)
  • Strong commitment to safety

  • High attention to detail and process-oriented approach
