Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our growing team at WorkPac, Australia's leading independent manufacturer and supplier of concrete reinforcing products.

About the Role
  • Safely and efficiently operate machinery such as Off Coil, Shearline, and Bending Machines.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and consistent production output.
  • Handle the operation of cranes, machinery, and the loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Conduct prestart checks on all plant and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Set up machines and apply quality control inspections prior to and during machine operation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
  • $34.75 per hour + penalties for outstanding work.
  • ASAP start for motivated individuals.
  • Wacol location for those looking for a new challenge.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience operating machinery and loading trucks is essential.
  • Previous experience in Reinforcing Steel is desirable but not necessary.
  • Background in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • A safety-conscious attitude with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingsness to undertake training for crane operations.
