Job Title: Vision Care Specialist

Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to individuals with glaucoma. Your primary objective is to empower them with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively manage their condition and preserve their sight.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized guidance and education to individuals with glaucoma, ensuring prompt response to inquiries via various channels and regular follow-ups.
  • Moderate our online community forums to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Support live webinar events, providing expert insights and answers to audience questions.
  • Develop and implement educational materials and resources to enhance patient understanding of eye health products available through our online store.
  • Coordinate and train a team of dedicated volunteers and clinical students, equipping them with the skills necessary to effectively assist individuals with glaucoma.
  • Represent our organization at industry conferences and events, promoting our programs and services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, and peak bodies to advance organizational goals.
  • Establish partnerships with universities offering orthoptics and optometry programs, facilitating student placements and collaborative research initiatives.
  • Develop strategic alliances with major public hospitals and eye clinics, disseminating glaucoma education and best practices.
  • Organize local community education events in partnership with health professionals and patients.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A strong background in orthoptics or a related field is essential, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient education and support services.
