Job Role: Support Worker

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be flexible and responsive, and have the ability to provide intensive support to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client-focused support to assist clients in improving their physical and mental health.
  • Develop and implement plans for client activities and social outings to enhance community connections and goal achievement.
  • Assist with daily living needs, domestic assistance, social support, transport, and community outings.
  • Perform tasks related to Support Work and Assistant in Nursing.
  • Be available for on-call duties and travel to different areas.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills.
  • A current full driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Comprehensive car insurance.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Experience in Manual Handling, challenging behaviors, and other high-care skills.
  • Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
  • Must be a proficient driver.
