Flight Sales Specialist

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity based at our Mascot Campus. As a Flight Sales Specialist, you will efficiently process all customer inquiries and requests with accuracy. Your main responsibilities include providing excellent and accurate advice on air products, policies, and fares to make it easier for travel agents to sell flights.


  • Process all customer queries and requests with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide expert advice on air products, policies, and fares
  • Encourage and promote self-service using the flight sales website
  • Proactively identify opportunities for additional sales and influence agents to apply higher-value products
  • Manage operational and commercial waiver requests within guidelines and record all waiver requests
  • Meet departmental targets in customer service and sales & revenue

Our ideal candidate has a sound working knowledge of GDS Reservation systems (Amadeus preferred) and extensive experience in travel agency or airline operations. They also possess HSC or equivalent qualifications and Fares & Ticketing I & II certifications, as well as a Certificate III or IV in Tourism.
