Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at MedHealth Group. As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert rehabilitation services to individuals who have sustained a physical or psychological injury in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of clients and develop effective solutions and strategies to ensure a safe return to work
  • Provide expert rehabilitation services, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including employers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research to ensure evidence-based practice

Requirements

  • Qualifications and relevant professional registration in Exercise Physiology & Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (preferred)
  • A willingness to travel (current vehicle and driver's license compulsory)
  • Excellent communication skills, with a confident approach towards engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly organized, with effective time management
