Hose Service Centre Technician

Key Job Responsibilities:
">- Support daily operations of the hose service centre
- Learn hose assembly, machine/weld and pipe-bending procedures
- Attend to customer needs at the counter and on the phone
- Data entry and stock control duties
- Pick-up and deliver goods as required
Job Requirements:
">- A strong understanding of customer service principles
- Good telephone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to carry out instructions accurately
- A knowledge of the industry or similar type
- Mechanical background preferred
- Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
- Current manual driver's license
- Basic computer literacy and good literacy and numeracy skills
- Well-presented and groomed
- Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and solve problems
- Desire to be a team player
- Understanding of WHS and safe work practices
- Currently living in/near or willing to relocate to the area
