The In-Work Support Mentor plays a vital role in fostering sustainable employment outcomes. This position focuses on providing ongoing mentoring, guidance, and practical assistance to both participants and employers to help resolve workplace challenges, strengthen retention, and promote long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure each participant's individual needs and aspirations for employment are at the center of your focus
  • Provide tailored post-placement and on-the-job support to participants to help them maintain sustainable employment
  • Mentor participants and offer specialized assistance to address workplace or personal barriers
  • Engage with the local community, industries, and stakeholders to identify growth and revenue opportunities
  • Monitor placement progress and outcomes, communicating any risks to relevant team members
