Job Title: Workplace Educator

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a skilled and passionate Workplace Educator to join our team. As a Workplace Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering educational programs and initiatives to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance within residential aged care.

About the Role:
  • Coordinate and deliver the induction and onboarding program to newly hired employees
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs to meet role expectations and ensure compliance across all Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Conduct an education and training needs analysis and develop a learning plan to address identified gaps
  • Work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners
Requirements:
  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Completion of Adult Training Education - Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar
  • AHPRA Registered, preferable, not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering education and training programs
  • Solid experience conducting Training Needs Analysis and converting to a learning plan
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues - not essential
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Competent IT skills including full Microsoft suite
  • Ability to travel, including current driver's license
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
