About The Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker with experience in providing essential assistance to clients with high-needs, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.

You will support clients who use wheelchairs and have additional medical needs, ensuring they receive the necessary care.

Our team promotes autonomy and supports residents around the clock, fostering independence within a shared living environment.

About You:

  • You should be confident in engaging with clients effectively, building positive relationships, and supporting their unique needs
  • You should be resilient and self-assured, able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • You should be skilled in prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities
  • You should be flexible, with availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook
  • You should hold a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • You should be able to pass a National Criminal History Check
  • You should have full COVID vaccination status
  • You should have experience with high-needs Disability clients
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent is desirable
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes is also desirable
