About this Role

As a Graduate Backend Software Engineer at TikTok, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain large-scale software systems that drive the TikTok app.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, lead, and develop robust software systems that meet the needs of our users.
  • Develop efficient technology products that serve 1 billion users.
  • Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability, performance, and reliability of the product.
  • Contribute to engineering strategy, tooling, processes, and culture.
  • Research and apply cutting-edge domain and technical knowledge into products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, C++, or PHP.
  • A deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms is essential.
