This is a demanding role that requires the delivery of mineral concentrate from mine to Port.

The successful candidate will be committed to safety in the workplace and adhere to Chain of Responsibility compliance.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Efficient operation of site vehicles
  • Obtaining BFM Accreditation or holding existing accreditation
  • Completing associated documentation such as cartage dockets and service requests
  • FOLLOWING company procedures
  • Initiating action to prevent deficiencies in product delivery
  • Undertaking supervision work when directed
  • Maintaining good care of assigned vehicles/plant
  • Ensuring compliance with NHVR regulations
  • Managing fatigue management
  • Complying with loading requirements, axle weights and vehicle permits

The ideal candidate will possess a Heavy Combination (HC) Drivers Licence or specific license as required, minimum of 2 years truck driving experience, experience with Truck & Dog Tippers desirable, and suitable driving history with HC licence. They will also have strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
