Job Description:

This is a Water Resources Engineer role that involves enhancing the capabilities and reputation of our organization's Mine Water team. The successful candidate will collaborate with talented professionals to drive future-ready outcomes for clients and communities.

The role requires assisting in rainfall, flow, and flood assessments, including modelling, mapping, flood mitigation design, and risk assessments. You will also support and assist in developing existing Mine Water group capability in stormwater management and flood studies.

In addition, you will assist in a range of water management related studies and investigations from pre-feasibility through to detailed design. Collaboration with teams across hydrogeology, geotechnical, civil, and environmental disciplines is essential.

As a Water Resources Engineer, you will prepare technical reports and supporting proposals for mining clients. Entry-level and/or support to project management, including project scoping, budget control, planning, and development of schedules, is also expected.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Assisting in rainfall, flow, and flood assessments
  • Modelling, mapping, flood mitigation design, and risk assessments
  • Developing existing Mine Water group capability in stormwater management and flood studies
  • Collaboration with teams across hydrogeology, geotechnical, civil, and environmental disciplines
  • Preparing technical reports and supporting proposals
