About this pivotal role
This is a key technical and leadership position within our organisation.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing for, directing, and responding to cyber security incidents and threats.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the data security function, ensuring visibility, delivery and enhancement of our data platforms.
- Develop and implement action plans in response to cyber security events.
- Oversee the security posture of our data platforms, including data storage, transmission, processing, presentation and represent security posture in data governance layers.
To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate the following key skills and competencies:
- Demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organisation.
- Proven ability to provide leadership and direction to team members, defining and setting future strategies and guiding staff learning and development.
- Possess the expertise and knowledge to manage, deliver, and implement prioritised requests to ensure the best outcomes for the organisation, aligning with quality and operational support standards.
Requirements:
- Australian citizenship
- Relevant qualifications and experience in cybersecurity or related field
Benefits:
Salary offered will be between $118,588 to $135,251 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.
