Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at ibis budget Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, and corridors, to the hotel's high standards for guest arrivals.
  • Ensure towels and linen are refilled, replaced, and stored correctly.
  • Perform any basic maintenance, report, and coordinate major maintenance requirements.
  • Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes, ensuring safe work practices are maintained.
  • Ensure high standards of property presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the drive to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for hospitality.
  • Good communication and time management skills with a friendly personality.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
