Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol procedures are practiced at all times
- Provide exceptional guest experiences by greeting and escorting guests to tables
- Train and monitor Food and Beverage Attendants to ensure service standards are met
- Accurately record and verify Team Members' time records
- Supervise Team Members in all aspects of the daily operation of the outlet, providing necessary assistance where required
- Establish and maintain approved service sequences and standards
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are carried out to an acceptable standard and supervise outlet
- Maintain efficient operating procedures for the outlet's point of sale cashiering computer system, ensuring accuracy and balancing of till and department cash float
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment and materials, ensuring security of outlet
- Promptly report any maintenance work required to the Manager and or maintenance department
- Maintain all outlet stock levels
- Complete the Restaurant daily log book
- Develop training plans and conduct on and off the job training sessions for all outlet Team Members
- Attend all scheduled food and beverage and other relevant meetings when required
- Monitor outlets manpower, payroll budget, control costs and maximise profitability
- Ensure personal grooming is consistently high and monitor service personnel's appearance and grooming
- Be punctual, efficient, and courteous at all times with guests and fellow Team Members alike
- Be aware of own work schedule and provide adequate notice when circumstances prevent adherence to that schedule
- Handle all guest complaints immediately, courteously and satisfactorily
- Assist with conducting performance appraisals of subordinates as instructed
- Other duties as may be prescribed from time to time due to operational needs
- Monitor and maintain a beverage cost of no more than 30%
Requirements:
- A current RSA is mandatory
- Experience working in a food and beverage role, ideally in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Possess an energetic and vibrant personality that engages guests to have a memorable experience at our venue
- A person who is both an invaluable team player as well as a well-rounded leader
- Have strong attention to detail and a keen willingness to learn
Additional Information:
Base hourly rate $28.87 equivalent to $57, $67,000 based on working days and penalties applicable as per the Hospitality Industry General Award
