We are seeking a skilled specialist to join our dynamic team.
Job DescriptionThis is a rare opportunity for an anaesthetist looking for a full or part time position in Newcastle. You will work between the John Hunter, Maitland and Belmont hospitals, providing a diverse caseload and chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across different settings.
You will have the opportunity to participate in regional and perioperative services, as well as a busy acute pain service with a strong emphasis on interventional pain modalities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialist perioperative and anaesthetic care, including on call services.
- Deliver specialist perioperative and anaesthetic care
- Supervising, training and assessing junior medical staff
- Contributing to the leadership and organisation of perioperative services
This role provides a unique opportunity to work with a large team of specialists and contribute to the development of perioperative services.
