Field Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team of experts in delivering exceptional repair services for innovative technology solutions.

This role involves playing a vital part in enhancing the performance and longevity of clients' equipment, supporting their operational success, and fostering progress across industries.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety protocols and compliance measures, with essential qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Heavy Mobile Equipment fields.

Responsibilities include ensuring all repairs and services meet exceptional standards by working closely with the service manager, conducting planned and ad hoc service visits to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair technical systems, and maintaining effective service and maintenance of returned rental equipment.

To succeed in this role, you will need flexibility to respond to customer demands, including potential after-hours service calls. A self-starter mentality with a drive to fulfill customer requirements efficiently is also crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all repairs and services meet exceptional standards by working closely with the service manager.
  • Conduct planned and ad hoc service visits to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair technical systems, minimizing equipment downtime through proactive issue diagnosis.
  • Maintain effective service and maintenance of returned rental equipment to ensure its availability for the next hire, avoiding gaps in service provision.

Required Qualifications:

  • Essential qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Heavy Mobile Equipment fields.
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and compliance measures.
  • Flexibility to respond to customer demands, including potential after-hours service calls.
  • A self-starter mentality with a drive to fulfill customer requirements efficiently.
  • Capability to work independently while providing thorough reports to the regional office.
