With RPR Trades, a reputable civil company, we are excited to offer a substantial long-term opportunity for a skilled Civil Labourer in Beaudesert.

This casual role comes with full-time hours and weekly opportunities to work overtime at penalty rates. You will be part of a team that values upskilling, including the attainment of additional tickets and plant certifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Traffic Control: Safely managing traffic flow around work areas using lasers and string lines.
  • Fencing: Erecting, dismantling, and maintaining temporary fencing, barrier fencing, and silt fencing.
  • Demobilization: Safely dismantling compounds and cleaning up sites.
  • Equipment Operation: Using various site equipment such as star picket drivers, sledgehammers, jackhammers, pumps, and hand/power tools.
  • Site Clean-Up: Daily maintenance and general site cleaning, including the site office.
  • Tipper Operation: Operating small tippers for transportation purposes.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Grade Checking: Using lasers and string lines for accurate measurements.
  • Spotting Trucks: Working safely around Plant Machinery.
  • Manual Labour: Performing manual physical tasks including lifting and bending.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid Construction Safety Card.
  • Relevant tickets for Roller operations.
  • A Traffic Control Ticket (Level 1 or Level 2) would be advantageous.
  • A current Driver's License.
  • A reliable vehicle for daily travel.
  • Past proven experience in a similar role.
