Pipe Laying Crew

At SEE Group, we are seeking skilled professionals to join our civil pipe laying crew. As a Pipe Laying Crew member, you will be responsible for installing pipes and other infrastructure for water supply, stormwater drainage, and sewerage systems.

We have multiple opportunities available in the Grafton, Logan, and Moreton Bay regions. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipe laying, with at least 2 years of experience in the field. You should be capable of reading plans, understanding drainage standards, and working in shoring and wet ground conditions.

• Pipe Layers:
• Must have minimum 2 years pipe laying experience
• Capable of reading plans and understanding relevant drainage standards, taking levels and using pipe lasers
• Capable of working in shoring & wet ground conditions
• Certificate III in pipe laying, confined space & loader tickets are an advantage
• Vehicle and tools supplied

• Civil Labourer/Toppy:
• Minimum 2 years civil construction experience
• Capable of undertaking physical work, working in a team environment and following direction
• Capable of using hand and power tools
• Loader, quick cut and confined space tickets preferred

• Pipe Crew Foreman:
• Minimum 5 years pipe laying experience
• Previous experience managing teams, and liaising with supervisors and project teams
• Capable of working in adverse ground conditions including shoring and wet ground conditions
• Minimum Certificate III in Pipe Laying
• Sound understanding of local water authority standards
• Vehicle and tools supplied

• Lead Excavator Operators:
• Minimum 5 years as a Lead Operator
• Capable of deep excavations, working in shoring and wet ground conditions
• Previous experience using GPS and ability to excavate around existing services

Based on industry standards, the estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
