Job Title: Document Control Specialist
The Department of Customer Service is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage and maintain accurate records in our Sydney office. This is a full-time, ongoing role that requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
About the Role- Manage and control sensitive or complex documents and records
- Provide guidance and support to staff on document management procedures
As a Document Control Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date and thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, subordinate legislation, guidelines, and procedures related to document management. You will also be responsible for managing escalated customer enquiries and providing technical advice to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of document management principles and practices
- Maintain accurate and complete records and files
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of document control activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current experience or transferable skills in a document control environment
