Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control Room Operations Coordinator Lead to join our team at Entergy. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our power plant, and for providing work direction to employees on the same shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and direct work to employees on the same shift, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the plant.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the plant, including boiler, turbine, and generator equipment.
  • Provide real-time decision-making and direction to employees on the same shift, including during critical and stressful situations.
  • Lead and participate in problem-solving teams as required, and provide training and mentoring to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, Environmental, and NERC/CIP.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of power plant experience, preferably in operations.
  • Strong knowledge of technology and use of computer.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take and understand directives and complete tasks.
  • Leadership skills and decision-making skills.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent overtime and rotating shifts. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
