Project SEARCH Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project SEARCH Coach to join our team. As a Project SEARCH Coach, you will provide coaching and mentoring to our interns who live with a disability, helping them to live a full and contributing life.

About the Role
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to our interns who live with a disability.
  • Work with employers and managers to create solutions that support our interns at work.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential employers and community organisations.

This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, including those with disabilities. You will be responsible for supporting them in a host employer setting throughout an internship period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening potential interns for program eligibility.
  • Liaising with employers and managers at the host site and creating solutions to support them at work.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with potential employers and community organisations.
  • Facilitating Skills Assessment Days and pre-learning with interns prior to Internship commencement.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous experience working within Disability Employment Services and/or the NDIS sector. You will also need to have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as highly developed planning, coordination, and time management skills.

  • Previous experience working within Disability Employment Services and/or the NDIS sector.
